Root Canal Therapy

Oftentimes a toothache is caused from an infection that has reached the pulp, or inner chamber, of the tooth and therefore is┬ácompromising the health of the tooth’s roots.

Root canal therapy is the procedure in which the dentist removes the diseased area of the tooth and cleans out the roots, then fills the root canals with material to prevent infection from recurring.

A common misconception of root canal therapy is that it is painful, though with modern technology and the efficiency of our dentists and staff, the level of pain should be equivalent to that of a filling.
